AN ARTIST’S BACKGROUND
Right after my studies, I joined Publicis, one of the largest advertising agencies in Paris, as art director. I worked in advertising for more than 10 years. In the mean time, I was producing art work in scupture and painting. I chose to leave Paris moving to the Loire Valley with the aim of devoting myself to art work. I produce paintings and sculptures when appears a new medium : the pixels. I work for a while with digital then I moved towards installations, recycling second-hand items.
THE STUDY
In 1984, I graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes in Paris. I also took drawing and painting classes from the City of Paris. On the basis of this solid academic training, I am self-taught in sculpture and modeling as well as in digital imaging (winning 2nd prize from the Advanced Creation Photoshop magazine).
ART WORKS
In 1995 I chose to leave Paris and my career in advertising for the small town of Saumur, with the aim of devoting myself to personal works. I created my first digital art work for the National Office of Norway, which entrusted me with the illustration of legendary places. My performance is noticed. I published several times in magazines and I was nominated at the Biarritz Travel Photo Festival. The Brittany region commissioned me to illustrate the legendary world. Then I published several books for children, working with the famous writer, Jean-Louis Fetjaine.
In addition to illustrating work, I produce paintings, sculptures and contemporary art inspired by social issues such as global warming, women abuse, overconsumption...
